Aurora 오로라

텐트 밖은 유럽에서 오로라를 보기 위해 밤하늘을 계속 올려다보는 장면이 인상 깊다. 

 

Aurora 

오로라는 주로 북극과 남극 극지방에서 관찰 되는 천문현상으로 아이슬란드, 그린란드, 노르웨이, 스웨덴, 핀란드, 러시아 북부, 미국의 알래스카나 캐나다 등에서  관찰되곤 한다. 

 

유래

오로라 라는 이름은 로마 신화의 새벽과 햇살의 여신 이름 아우로라에서 유래되어 갈릴레오가 1619년 명명했다고 한다. 

 

생성 원리 및 오로라 지수

태양의 흑점의 활성화에 영향이 있어서 텐트 밖의 유럽에서 보면 노르웨이 사람들은 어플을 설치 하여 태양 활동이 활발할 때의 수치로 오로라를 볼 수 있는 수치를 어플로 확인하곤 하였다. 

그런데 오로라 수치가 높아도 대기에 구름이 많다면 구름에 가려져 관찰이 되지 않기 때문에 맑은 하늘과 오로라 수치를 같이 확인한다고 한다. 1~10까지 인데 며칠 전에 찍은 사진이라며 레벨 5일 때 보여주며 오늘은 레벨 3이라고 얘기 해주는 장면이 잠깐 나오는데 레벨 5여도 굉장히 이쁜 오로라를 볼 수가 있었다.

Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis (Northern Lights and Southern Lights):

Description: Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, and Aurora Australis, known as the Southern Lights, are natural light displays that occur in the Earth's polar regions. They are caused by the interaction of solar particles with the Earth's magnetic field.

Locations: The Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) are commonly observed near the Arctic Circle, including places like Alaska, Canada, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. The Southern Lights (Aurora Australis) can be seen near the Antarctic Circle, but access is limited due to the remote location.

Observing: To observe the Northern Lights or Southern Lights, it is recommended to visit during winter months when nights are longer and darker. Clear skies, away from light pollution, provide the best viewing conditions. However, visibility is also dependent on solar activity and weather conditions.

텐트 밖의 유럽은 겨울 설산의 풍경과 짙은 푸른 바다가 인상적이며 유해진, 진선규, 박지환, 윤균상의 잔잔한 케미가 소소한 웃음을 주는 재미 있는 예능이다. 

예전 아이슬란드에서 tvn 예능에서 한번 오로라가 나오는 장면을 한번 본적이 있다. 

실제로 보는것과는 많이 다르겠지만 화면으로도 꽤 오묘한 신기하게 아름다운 하늘이었다.
